This is SUPER adorable. I absolutely love this. There's something about the very soft colours of the glow and her skin that really would draw someone into the picture. I'm glad you didn't use too harsh of lighting/shadowing, although w/your skills, I'm sure you would've succeeded no matter what.

My only critiques would be her lips, and her hands. Since this is such a creative and abstract piece, respectively, it's hard to critique, because there's no right or wrong way to art. For me, her lips look a little, too curved, or lopsided, and a little uneven to the nose. That's really one of the only things that stood out to me.

Another thing, but keeping the abstract thought of this in mind, is her hands. I feel like they're a little unporportional to the rest of her body, if maybe they were a little bit bigger. The shading on the hands is absolutely amazing. Something I myself struggle with! Kudos, this piece is AMAZING and well deserved of a DD! :)

This is an image that really catches the eye and has impact. The lighting combined with the tones and colours really gives it a charm that you can't help but love. The way the edges all have a glow that has been created by the light, this adds to the mood and depth. I think the most important thing here is the look of innocence, or perhaps wonder, or perhaps inquisative confidence. The eyes and the facial expression really draw the eye into this. You almost get a sense where you can't help but love her. The dark background also helps to bring out her wonderful qualities. Excellent artwork. Well done.

I'm not sure what to make of the face, though. The mouth feels awkward and the eyes seem almost.. doll-like.
